LANDING CIRCUIT
To the north of Bayeux, between Ouistreham and Sainte Mère-Eglise, the tour brings to life the extraordinary "Overlord" operation, through prestigious sites, museums and military cemeteries.
- The American military cemetery occupies a magnificent site on the cliff overlooking Omaha Beach.
- Overlord museum, a stone's throw from Omaha Beach and close to the American cemetery.
- In Saint Laurent sur Mer, the Omaha Beach memorial museum.
- The Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum in Bayeux
- The German battery of Longues-sur-Mer, site on which 3 of the 4 casemates have been preserved with their artillery pieces.
- Arromanches-les-Bains with its artificial harbour, the landing museum which presents the phases of the operation from the construction of Winston harbour to the liberation of the coast and the circular cinema "Arromanches 360".
- The Pointe du Hoc, a natural site which was crowned at the time by a battery.

HERITAGE

- Capital of the Bessin, Bayeux has 3 assets: its old town, its cathedral and its famous tapestry.
- The forest of Cerisy, a region of woods and hedged farmland, is cut by small green valleys. Among others, visit the castle of Balleroy, the abbey of Cerisy-la-Forêt and the mine museum in Molay-Litry.

From the small restaurant with sea view to the most prestigious Michelin starred restaurant, come and savour the moment and titillate your taste buds!
